We had a redevelopment deal on our family property in Hauz Khas — 317 square yards, builder arrangement, joint ownership with a co-owner based abroad. The structure meant the co-owner needed to fly in only once, for just over a week, for the final registration. Everything else — the builder negotiation, the documentation, the TDS, the NRO account coordination — was handled before he arrived so the visit was straightforward.
